Halal Monitoring Authority has certified this establishment as offering one or more halal options. Per owner: 'We always will get our chicken from Madina Wholesale Poultry - you can call them as well, we have an account set up for weekly deliveries and our steak comes from Brampton Halal Meat which is also HMA certified'

NR I called the Chick Felay Brampton branch inquiring about their hours of operation and also began asking about MIlton and Mississauga location.
The person on the phone snapped and responded in a very rude way if i wanted to come to the restaurant or just looking for information, i replied that i am looking to go to the restaurant that is close to me and if he can give me the information that will be great. He said that once again in a very rude way that Brampton Branch is open and i can visit them if i want.
Guess what Chick Felay, i am taking my business some where else, and just by reading all the food reviews, i believe i am making a pretty good decision. Posted on February 15, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Pretty nice place. Completely empty when we got there (4 of us with 3 kids) so service was quick and very friendly. We all ate to our fill and still had leftovers for under $60. Really difficult to compare as Galitos and Chick Felays pretty much have the same tasting chicken but was satisfied with everything. Hope to return soon. HMA certification is definitely a huge ratings booster as well. Posted on January 15, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ I wish I could give a better rating for this restaurant as I was hoping to get some what better meal at this place and a surity to get 100% halal meat.
Please be careful of this place as even though they are claiming HMA certified, I found one of their location in Listowel is also selling PORK. I found this out while travelling towards US and stopping over their in search of Halal food.
They are no where close to Nandos taste.
To Zabiha Halal: When restaurant's menu has Halal stamp with all the locations listed on it, they should have the obligation to ensure that all its locations are following its terms. From a customer perspective, how would one trust the other locations when they are selling pork at one place. Just my 2 cents :) Posted on August 28, 2012 |
Not all outlets of this chain are halal or HMA certified - we have only included those that are on this website.
Response 2: That's why the Listowel location is not listed on zabihah.com :) |

★★☆☆☆ Sorry to say this place is a big rip off from there name to there products which they have tried to copy from Nandos but failed miserably. No taste no class. Posted on August 8, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ brothers, why do they ripoff the name from the U.S company Chick-fil-a?
Anyway, thats why i did not go in. I didn't like that they couldn't come up with a unique name. Posted on August 6, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I've been here a few times and have enjoyed each experience. Although the service can be worked on, the owner has always been there and is very friendly.
I really enjoyed the chicken burger and their ribs.
Its a really big place but I've never seen it too busy.
HMA = Confidence in this place being halal! Posted on July 30, 2012 |

★★★★☆ The food was good and fresh... Service was appropriate too although I would agree with the reviewer earlier that servers might need a little more training.. Other than that staff was very friendly and pricing was fair too.. Posted on June 5, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Don't waste your time.
To begin, the service was absolutely horrendous. I came with 3 friends and we waited over 30 mins to get our orders, despite only 8 other people being in the restaurants. This was on a SATURDAY at 8pm. I had to get up 7-8x to ask for my order and drink because I only got half of my order at a time, and my drink didn't come until the end.
The service was rude and fairly intolerable from the owner himself. I'm not a person of high class or standards so I don't have high expectations or expect first-class service but, a few things like manners and courtesy are the least that's expected, considering we're paying customers. I was honestly offended, and I'm a very passive person.
The food was average. The onion rings were good, the fries were soggy and had no spice on them. The chicken wasnt marinated too well, though the sauce on top tasted pretty good. Posted on June 3, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ The chicken was flimsy and small tiny pieces. Not worth the money. My family had stomach aches later that evening from the food. The coleslaw was great...The "spicy rice" was basmati indian style rice with some sauce on top. (Not true peri rice).
The service was mediocre..very young kids working.
It was way more expensive than Nandos where you get bigger chicken pieces and better sides. I will not be returning here again. Posted on November 28, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Not sure why this place is being compared to NANDOS- this place is atleast Halal - so 1 star... & No alcohol- so 1 more star.
Family/Friends had been there before- not impressed.
We went there after reading good reviews(ratings) on Zabihah.com... Not impressed either.
We were the only people there, later on few tables filled though.
Waiter wasn't sure whats on platter - reason: 'no1 has ordered this1 in a long time'. Food didn't seem fresh after eating- I could smell, so didnt eat more than a few bites from the big platter.
Taste wasnt bad though- so 1 more star Posted on October 1, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ As an earlier reviewer pointed out, this place is a shameless rip-off of Nando's, right from the decor, menus and sauces. The food is equally expensive and is average at best. The earlier reviews seem like ballot-stuffing from the restaurant's owners. Posted on August 1, 2011 |

★★★★★ Came here with family and was very pleased with the food and service. The chicken dishes are delicious. Everything is 100% zabihah halaal. I highly recommend this place. The owner was very nice as well. I told them to open one in new York where I am from and they said they are planning on opening one in Edison, nj. Five stars! Posted on July 22, 2011 |

★★★★★ One of the best variations of chicken dishes I have ever had. I agree that nandos was here before, but the chicken here has more of a kick to it.
The only thing I did not like was the lack of training of the waiters. The food is supposed to come all together, with as little gap as possible. Here they need to work on that.
Their deserts were amazing also. I appreciate the owner for trying new things. Posted on June 20, 2011 |

★★★★★ my favourite and best part of this facility, i was able to join my namaz with jamat that was fantastic feeling being in a restaurant and able to offer pray with jamat wow
welcoming atmosphere well decor, first clean restaurant so far ,yummy chicken tasty sauces
on a side note its not like nandos but not far from it either and prices are lot less and portioning is lot bigger than nandos Posted on June 16, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ The similarity between this and Nando's is absolutely hilarious. It's a complete copy and a shameless rip-off!
The style is the same, the menu is the same, and they even have the same system of hot sauces ranging from mild to ridiculously spicy. The food though is not the same, stick with Nandos.
I went here on a Saturday evening for dinner and the place was empty which says a lot about a "rated 5 star restaurant", large banquet hall type restaurant with only myself, my wife and cousin. Us being the only one's in the restaurant we thought we would recieve good service but even that we did not get, our server bought our main course meals first and then the appetizers lol, she also forgot a part of our order.
No clue how this place is getting nothing but 5 star reviews, but it's funny how every reviewer here has only 1 review hmmmm somethings not right. Posted on June 14, 2011 |
