A diner close to BU serving French cuisines: crepes, panini and pasta. It is under new management (along with Falafel & Couscous) and only serves halal food. Added on August 11, 2009 and last updated 6 years ago
★★★☆☆ I used to go to this place every now and then when I studied at BU. It's a nice place to have some light food such as crepes. Even though it's halal, I always go for the sweet menu such as strawberry banana nutella crepes, and it tasted wonderful. There's also other sorts of crepes and rice plates but I never had those. ★★★☆☆ It is a nice place near Boston University. I had chicken kabab dinner plate. It was really tasty. The crispy crepe dessert is just delicious Posted on December 21, 2011
NR I called and got an honest answer:
Although this place serves some halal items, they use the same grill and tools for cooking the haram and the halal, that means the halal food is "Najis" (contaminated) with haram food. We didn't go, but I'm thankful to the owner for being honest.
I would love to go there and try them out, perhaps one day when they serve all halal or cook halal with clean tools. Posted on September 17, 2011
OWNER RESPONSE
