★★★☆☆ Okay food, but very clean restaurant. Since owner wasn't at the location, no kababs were available. We went on Friday evening around 7pm, prime time to not have a full section of the menu available. The chicken tikka masala and goat curry was very good, but the biryani, naan, bhindi was average. ★★★☆☆ Had the boti chicken last week cuz they were out of the seekh kebabs last week. The chicken wasn't bad but they served it with a naan that is like deep naan that you can by at desi grocery stores. Posted on August 28, 2015 |

★★★★★ This is our first time to Portland from Southern California. We visited Mumtaz Curry and Kebabs, the food was amazing, we ordered chicken biryani, lamb biryani, chicken curry. The owner provided complimentary soft drinks, gulab jamun and ras malai. The cost is reasonable and owner is very polite and service is fast. I would recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. ★★☆☆☆ Food is good, but tables are not clean. Does not have servers to serve food. Almost always 'runs out of meat'. I have stopped calling/going this restaurant after multiple bad experience with lack of service and lack of food. Posted on January 27, 2015 |

★★★★☆ We found this place on zabihah during our visit to Portland. We ordered Chicken Kabob, Lamb Biryani and Chicken Karahi. Owner was out of Kabobs, but he somehow arranged it on our request. Overall, the food was good. But one thing I wanted to mention is the owner's nice and humbling attitude. He was extremely curteous and provided us with drinks and also gave us extra rice and did not charge for anything. If I am ever in the town again, I will definitely visit this place. ★★★★☆ We went here for iftar and had a very good meal. Service was excellent and the kababs are where it's at. Tried a few other things on the menu but mostly impressed by the kababs. The owner was very welcoming as well and allowed us to do maghrib prayers there. Will stop by again if I'm in town. Posted on July 8, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Excellent kababs ! Chicken biryani was different than what I'm familiar with not their greatest dish - but can't go wrong with the kababs! Delicious! Posted on May 31, 2014 |

★★★★★ I went in for a lunch special and I'll definitely be going back to try more. It was weird that no other customers showed up the entire time I ate there. It would be a real shame if the place had to close down. Hopefully they usually get more business, because they deserve it. Food was top notch and the guy working was really nice.
It's very minimalist in appearance, but that doesn't mean it's dirty or something. It's clean, the service was good, and the food is good, so that's all that matters. Posted on May 22, 2014 |

★★★★★ A seekh kabab place with some curries on the menu. The meat was fresh and the spices were exquisite. Small upstart with clean interior and friendly owners. Highly recommended for Pakistani/Indian food in the Portland area.
