★★★☆☆ This author dined at Queen Ammanisa several months ago and his memory is too crammed with automotive trivia to recall his meal. It will suffice to say that this is a large restaurant with plenty of seating for larger parties, and parking is available in the garage. There are no safe corners, so leave the 2010 Audi R8 V10 6-speed (with a gated shifter) at home.
This author recalls the Laghman ($13-14), a dish with hand-pulled chewy laghman noodles with vegetables and chicken or beef, as excellent and worth going back for. The kabobs ($3 for a small skewer are as well-made but lack the flavor expected -- worth trying but not the reason to come here.
Forgive the brief and hazy review. Queen Ammanisa earns 3 out of 5 stars and will get a second visit. Also, who is Queen Ammanisa? Posted on June 11, 2018 |

★★★★★ A truly unique experience - spicy, textured, and unapologetically Uyghur. The owners have another restaurant in Beijing, from where they drew their menu. The walls are adorned with traditional Uyghur handicrafts, and the setting is clean and airy. The laghman - hand-pulled noodles with meat of your choice - is the signature dish, and the one you are most likely to order seconds of. Other fantastic dishes include chopped fried noodles, mantu, and BBQ lamb. Posted on February 12, 2016 |
