NR I am surprised that someone wrote about the source of meat is Sam's club and this restaurant is still on zabihaha.com it should not be then to misguide people. Posted on December 2, 2015 |
Sams Club carries Halal chicken (Crescent Brand) but we will follow up to make sure |

★★☆☆☆ Some food weren't fresh and expired already. Posted on May 11, 2015 |

★★★★☆ The Ruz bi Lahm is really good. The platters are pretty average in that they are comparable to the typical platters at other restaurants. The staff and owner are very friendly. Posted on January 2, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Badawest is a Flint staple that also attracts non-Arab and non-Muslim diners, so its also a good place to take non-Muslim friends and relatives or colleagues. I have dined here dozens of times. Their food style caters to an American palette but if you know or request authentic items they accommodate you. The food is consistently good, both in-house and carry-out service is good. They employ non-Muslim wait staff (nothing wrong with this), which explains the lack of knowledge of certain terms and dishes. I recommend the mixed platters! Posted on October 25, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ I know for a fact that the owner buy his meat from Sam's Club.
I'm not sure who thought this was Zabiha, but i have been living in Flint for over 10 years and this guy has been seen buying his meat from Sam's Club on the same road as Badawest (Corunna Rd.) Posted on February 24, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ The food is terrible. The meat wasn't well done, quantity wasnt much and a bit pricey. Their smoothy was filled with ice. Would never go there again. People living in Flint like it because there isnt much halal place around. Posted on May 15, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I had an opportunity to have a quick dinner based upon recommendation. The food is average if you have eatten at other middlest places... but given its FLINT .. it was worth it...There is another one and its called Taboon in Grand Blanc... Both place, the server did'nt know what "HALAL" meant and they had to go and ask someone and came back validating it is..so.. Allah Knows the best! Posted on September 25, 2006 |
