★★☆☆☆ Had to eat here just because I eat halal only. Chicken Karahi was the worst ever, don't waste your money on it. Chicken biryani was good, and lassi was awesome. Overall, it's an average place. Posted on May 31, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Good food but not the best. I found service to be very impartial, since they are never rude but neither friendly. I often end up eating here when I'm in Gainesville because there aren't many other options. Posted on February 28, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Their food is ok, but their prices are on the higher side for the quality and quantity of servings. Would rate them poor as the service too is not up to the mark. Leaves one with the impression of begin stingy in their customer service. Posted on January 4, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ I recently visited Gainesville on a trip to Orlando and ate at Kabab House. In all my experience of eating in the USA at several different locations ,by far I had the worst experience with the most rude chef( a Nepalese Guy).I was dining with my family and ordered a Goat biryani. Instead he brought me a Lamb Biryani and when I inquired about the same, he literally just about shoved me out of the restaurant. He questioned my nationality and had several questions about the same. ...Didnt knew till now that you have to answer these before dining somewhere now.!!(The khatoon at the counter was shocked at the chefs behaviour) I wanted to discuss the issue with the owner Mr.Harris Khan and talked to him about the same. But he failed to understand my concerns that a patron has a right to let the chef/owner know if he has any concerns about the food he payed for with his hard earned money. He actually cut my phone midway. So all those interested in eating there should make sure that they eat the food as it is and do not expect any respect there. I wonder if the people who can be so rude to a brother would be truly serving Halal food. A very bad experience. Posted on March 27, 2013 |
When this Khalid20 came to the store I was the Khatoon who was shocked not at the Cheifs response but the utter nasty behavior of the this Khaild20. I have been working at Kabab House since October of 2012. When Mr. Khalid20 came he ordered Goat Biryani and he received Goat Biryani. After eating half of his order he came to the front counter and asked me in a very demeaning manner that this is not Goat Biryani but Lamb Biryani. I informed him that we don't sell Lamb Biryani nor it is on the Menu. I went back to the kitchen and asked the chef to come adress this Mr. Khalid20 complaints. He informed him that sir this is Goat Biryani but Mr. Khaild refused to listen to the chef. The Chef even showed him the invoice from the whole seller Kabab House purchases the goat but Khalid20 became very rude and unruly. He later demanded the onwers phone number. The next morning when I was there working the manger did call Mr. Khalid20 but I was not surprised that most of the the manger was listening and Khalid20 was blasting him with all types of explicits. Even though the manger explained to him that since they are open they have never cooked Lamb Biryani and don't serve it because it is very expensive. Even though after the manger explained this to him Khalid20 kept repeating at him without take a breath and yes, eventually the owner hanged up on him saying that he is being very responsible. After I read Khalid290 comments I was compelled to reply because I was there and witnessed it. |

★★★☆☆ ok tasting food but price of large biryani is 16$ which is like 2-3 plates...would be better if they sold 1/3 the amount for 5-6$ ..but still the biryani was a bit bland Posted on August 1, 2011 |
