NR I loved this place but tried going there today and they have been closed down :( Posted on May 17, 2014 |

★★★★★ We had a chicken salad and adna kebab. They're pretty delicious and well cooked. And for dessert, we had sutlac, which we really loved. The ambient is good too. We also saw a halal slaughtering certificate next to the cashier. Posted on August 24, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Our party of 8 came here with optimism, judging by the good reviews on this site. Contrary to the description on this site, there was no clear "halal" sign anywhere that any of us saw, nor was there the word "halal" anywhere on the menu. Walking in, we saw the open cooking area in the middle of the restaurant, and the folks behind the counter were not even smiling or welcoming. The last time I walked into a restaurant without being greeted by someone who worked there was when I lived in the South. Here I was in a "Muslim owned" place, and I felt unwelcome. Very sad. We were seated in the well-decorated back portion of the place, and we became optimistic again. Unfortunately, it was downhill from there. The service was slow, the drinking water was lukewarm. We had to ask for ice. While we were waiting for our food to arrive, there was a mishap in the kitchen that caused smoke to pervade the entire restaurant. We had to ask our waiter to open a window. The iskander and beef plates we ordered were inedible: the meat tasted stale, and the beef plate was actually room temperature. The adona kebab had a good amount of gristle. The last of our plates arrived a good 15 minutes after everyone else at the table got their order. We spoke up about the unappetizing beef, but no one from the kitchen came to talk to us about it; in fact, the owners never even spoke to us the whole time. Even when we were leaving, no one smiled or thanked us, or invited us back, even though we had just given them about $200 worth of business! We will definitely not return. Wonder what went wrong at this restaurant in the 5 months between the last review and mine... Posted on May 13, 2013 |

★★★★★ Best iskander that I have ever had was here... Shawrama was also excellent, though I can't say enough about the iskander kabob! Delicious! Posted on December 24, 2012 |

★★★★★ 10 yrs Ago couldn't find a single halal food authentic Turkish restaurant in So. Cali. Now theyr are flourishing.
My wife is Turkish, so ofcourse there was a quick connection. The food was as good as it gets outside Turkey. I had Eskendar Kabob with eggplant and complimentary bread. However, I wish they offer turkish bread not the market bought arabis/greek bread.
Value of their food with prices was better than any other place. They voluntarily showed my wife halal meat boxes.
We wish them great success!!!
I hope they also open in Arizona. Posted on December 22, 2012 |

★★★★★ We went here last week and had an amazing experience. The place has a home feel decor and very clean. The owners were very nice and friendly. The daughter speaks english well but the father and mother have trouble with english. We ordered their alexander kabab, adana kaba and shawerma. All were very good. The shawarma roll portion was a bit small. The alexander kabab was the best by far. Will definitely go again. Posted on April 12, 2012 |

★★★★★ Selam Aleykum. Usually i do not trust the restaurants which says they sell halal. However, I went this restaurant and I asked them if the meat was Halal they said everything was halal they show their meat box and bills to prove. Their meat comes from a Muslim owned meat company as well. This is a good family running restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Posted on January 20, 2012 |
