★★★★★ This place is run by Muslim brother, food was excellent never had such a filling philly sandwich and I only got half instead of full sandwich. Posted on June 10, 2019 |

Insha'Allah, I hope this place is legit Halal. Posted on November 10, 2017 |

★★★★★ This is our go to place for Philly Sandwich in Triangle Area. We have tried all other Halal sandwiches in Triangle, and there is no comparison
between this and others. This sandwich is simply the best Posted on August 25, 2017 |

★★★★★ Assalamualaikum, if you want to try a mouthwatering sandwich, Philly Steak Factory is the best destination in the whole triangle. The quality of meat, the spices, and flavors are superb. I personally have tried everything on the menu, and I would say your best bet is with the philly steak, philly chicken, and the jumbo wings. I don't think any other place packs their sandwiches with the amount of juicy meat as they do. The owner has been in the food business for a while so the man knows what he is doing and he always takes care of his customers. If you want an 'authentic' Italian Philadelphia cheesesteak, this is the place to go hands down. Posted on April 21, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Confirmed by owners, all menu is Halal. I often go to this restaurant with my wife and friends.
Probably the only choice in RTP for decent halal Philly Sandwiches and Wings.
- Mixed Philly Sandwich(steak and chicken) is good
- get Wings with extra spicy sauce by request
- Chicken tendors are not bad.
We mostly order whole foot long sandwich and take home the left over for next day lunch :) Posted on September 25, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ We ended up eating haram meat here because forgot to ask before ordering. And it was too late when found out. When told the owner, just got abusive remarks. I'll be fair they may have some zabiha meat but it's also likely you may end up like us eating their regular meat. I recommend avoiding these partially zabiha places overall. ★★★★☆ This restaurant has some really great food, however, they ONLY have zabihah chicken and you have to specifically ask for it or they will give you non-zabiha. Also, the owner charges you $1 extra for zabiha chicken (which I think is kind of ridiculous), but the chicken sandwich and onion rings are delicious. Posted on September 24, 2009 |

★★★★★ Salam alaikum,
This store has the best philly steak in town, steak or chicken! May Allah azza wa jal reward brother Ehsan! Yes, dhabihah meat is served. People who ask for dhabihah meat should also follow other Islamic injunctions at the same time. Posted on May 1, 2009 |

★★★★★ Only the chicken gyro is halal. This was confirmed by ehsan. He makes sure that it is cooked seperately from other stuff. It was flavorful and side of fries was delicious as well. Posted on February 25, 2009 |

★★★★★ They have a partial Halal/Zabihah menu which you have to ask for.
I had heard of this place from a muslim friend who dines there occasionally, who assured me it was zabihah but you should call and ask before hand if he had any in stock. So one time I called, spoke with the guy (Ehsan) who assured me he had zabihah meat in stock so my family went.
Turns out I know the family (Afghani) and I again asked him to make sure and he said yes it is Halal. The Philly Cheesesteak (beef) was great. I'd recommed the onion rings. He also has veggie burgers and fries.
I informed another friend, who called and asked and was told they did not serve Halal. I'm guessing the help/staff answered the phone and they don't know about the halal/zabihah (h/z) availability.
A couple of weeks later I called, and spoke with Ehsan, to ask if he had h/z and he checked and said yes.
My advice: Call, speak with Ehsan, and ask him. It's worth the trip up there. Posted on September 7, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ The owners and managers told me that they did not serve Zabihah meat. This was unfortunately after I had been many times and ordered everything meat on their menu. I was told that even the chicken is not Zabihah. Posted on July 30, 2006 |
We only serve zabihah based on customer's request of zabihah, because everything is not zabihah. Some of these customers can not be differentiated whether they are Muslim or not. |

★★★☆☆ I had been going to this restaurant for 3 or 4 years and I asked if everything was halal/zabihah. I am not sure if there was poor miscommunication on my part, but they assured me everything was. Well, I ordered everything from the roast beef sandwiches to the gyros, which I loved. My friend then told me that the only thing that was halal was the chicken. I went back and asked and this time they told me only chicken was halal. I am glad they were up front in the end, but I am v. disappointed by their lack of honesty as I was a regular customer. Posted on January 17, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ When I went there I was told that only the chicken was halaal, presumably owned by a Muslim. Posted on November 26, 2004 |
