★★★★★ I found this place on Zabihah and I ate the best grilled meats I have ever had. I do not understand the review that said the portions were small --- when we went there we literally couldn't finish the huge portions they served as a main course and asked to have the rest wrapped to take home. Maybe it was the appetizers that were small? This is where I go for celebrations (my husband's 51st birthday) and I would recommend it to anypne. Posted on July 4, 2013
★★☆☆☆ Very expensive compared to what they serve. We ordered ghemey something. They started with complimentary nan, butter and chicken soup where we could not find any chicken. Then came the main dish. The veal item that they served had 1 sqcm sized 7-8 pieces of beef!!!! They were so small that your hunger will not go away after you eat 3-4 of that serving. But they only serve once!!! The price is high too. I don't recommend it to anyone. Posted on May 31, 2013
★★★★★ Excellent place and delicious food. You won't find this kind of kabab anywhere else in Montreal. The meat quality is exquisite. Try the stews: they are homemade and very yummy.
Last but not least, don't miss on the desserts!
The restaurant is run under the supervision of Shaykh Saleh, who is the resident alim of Montreal. It is 110% halal and very neat. It is the kind of place you would want to take your most dear guests, or to go to treat yourself. Don't be scared off by the high price, because it is downtown Montreal, and the quality/quantity you get for it is well worth it. Posted on March 17, 2012
