NR Call before going, they seem to be closed on random days. Posted on December 22, 2014 |

★★★★★ Tastey and legit chinese food for sure. Not greasy or watered down for the American palate. Very spicey and tastes like home food. Definitely halal meat and they don't have two menus. My husband is white and they gave him the menu while I waited in the car, therefore they did not see me. Also, the menu posted on their website has no mention of pork and says halal. If they are deceiving the Muslim community then they are going to extreme lengths as most of their clients are Chinese and they don't seem to promote or serve pork. Posted on January 25, 2013 |

★★★★☆ First and foremost.. the owners are not muslim. I asked if they had any certificate to show the halal authenticity of the meat and the lady informed me that they do not have any certificates, but that they purchase only halal meat from Restaurant Depot, and that she could show me receipts if need be. I gave them the benefit of the doubt since they were busy at that time. To the person below who said that they might keep 2 separate menu's. I don't know for sure, but it could be possible. Although the menu's we picked up that were all over the counters, had no mention of pork.
The experience is better if you do take out, as the place could be decorated better and isn't exactly a great atmosphere (although not a bad one).
The food on the other hand is great! As someone mentioned earlier, probably the best halal chinese food place in long island. Although keep in mind, that's more due to the lack of an actual good halal chinese restaurant.
All the chicken dishes were great but the one beef dish we ordered, the meat seemed a little rare, as it was still a bit pinkish.
I would give the food a 6.5-7 out of 10. Posted on November 10, 2011 |

★★★★★ We did a last minute search on Zabihah.com and found this restaurant. It is really hard to find a good chinese restaurant which is halal in Texas or in Washington D.C. So, when we found this, we were excited. There is a huge halal sign on the window of the restaurant and few doors from this restaurant is a halal meat store and restaurant. We ordered Kung Pao chicken, tofu (with minced meat) and Spicy Beef (I forget the name of the dish). The food was tasty especially the spicy beef. The portion of each dish is pretty big, I think it can be shared by 3 people. It may seem that the dishes are pricey but actually the portions are BIG, so it is worth the price!! Btw, the place was very clean and well maintained. Posted on March 21, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ The food is nothing to go out of your way for. The decor of this place needs real work, as does the hygiene. The tables are pretty grimey and you might find the occasional blue rubber band in your food. Posted on November 10, 2010 |

★★★★★ The owners just recently reverted to a single full Halal menu, no pork products whatsoever. The food is authentic chinese so some entrees may be different than what you're used to eating at typical "Americanized" Chinese food places but some of their basics are on the money: General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, curry beef, various noodles and lo mein. They also deliver with a minimum order. This may just be the best Halal Chinese on Long Island! Posted on November 3, 2010 |

NR The sign on the window says halal, but please be careful. Owner does sell pork products. They keep two separate menus. Apparently if u look muslim, you are handed the menu where pork is unlisted. Posted on August 6, 2010 |
