★★★★☆ I flew Air France from Boston to Paris, Paris to Rabat, and back on the same route. The halal meals were surprisingly quite good. I don't recall the meal from Boston to Paris, but I don't remember it being disgusting. The meals between Paris and Rabat were small, consisting of snack foods like cheese, bread, and delicious butter cookies. I also got the card stating that no pork products were used, but I think this comes standard with all meals from Muslim-majority countries (regardless, no meat was served between Rabat and Paris). From Paris back to Boston, I was served chicken with a tomato sauce, potatoes and squash, a smoked salmon salad with julienned zucchini and carrots, and an apple tart. The chicken was very moist and the sauce flavorful, and the vegetables went well with it. The salmon salad was awesome, and I even asked my friend if I could finish hers! For economy class, I thought their halal meals were very satisfying. Posted on September 8, 2011 |

★★★★☆ We flew economy class round trip from Libreville (Gabon) to Paris (France), the food was great everytime. There was always a small card saying that the chicken served is halal. We loved the salmon salad. Not sure about the content of the butter and cheese though, so we don't eat them. Posted on March 11, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I travalled from Toronto to Paris and back with Air France, food was not bad, I did order the "Muslim Meal" as I tried before and didnt have a good experience, the airport wasnt bad, didnt give me a hard time (being easily identified as Muslim by my looks) Posted on February 28, 2006 |

★☆☆☆☆ I'm a little sceptical with air france, i requested a halal meal. They gave me a meal that that stated that the meal had no pork, given the comment by soukey, i'm not sure whether its halal or that the attendants are ignorant. Posted on January 7, 2006 |

★★★☆☆ who said frog legs are halal, as much as I know amphibians are haram in islam.. maybe we should inform air france about this right? Posted on September 22, 2004 |

★★★★★ I requested a halal meal when I bought my ticket online (I flew economy). The meal was very good (I had chicken), and came with a little card certifying that the meat was halal. Also, on a flight between Dakar and Paris, even the meals that weren't halal had a little card ensuring that no pork products were used in the meal. Posted on July 24, 2004 |

★★★★★ The most exotic food I had was on the NY-Paris flight. I travled first class (was on a modeling assignment). I was told the food was halal. I had frog legs, rabbit and foie gras--all absolutely delicious!! I wanted to try the steak, but didnt have a room for that!! Posted on May 19, 2004 |
